I showed courage when my mom went on deployment for 6 months. I had to pray and believe that she would come home safely. I cried but I believed in her and I had to be strong. My mom has been gone for 9 months over the last year. I am still strong and ok because I talk ed to her and said to myself, I’m okay because I am strong, nice and bright. I had to talk to my teacher, friends and family and I felt happy because I know she is doing it for the nation and to keep us safe. That is how I showed courage.
