I am bold and courageous everyday

I know that being a military child is perfectly okay

I want to be like my parents, strong and brave

I know that there is land and people to save

For me, having courage isn’t just fighting for what you need

It’s trying something new, speaking up, or taking the lead

Courage helps me understand life in a different way

It has brought me to who I am today

Starting something new may bring me worry

But there is no need to stress, give up, or hurry

With courage I can accomplish anything I do

I have learned to create some goals and always pursue

Being a military child, I move to many new places

I see brand new things and many different faces

But courage helps me through and I make a few friends along the way

Indeed, “Keep going” is the message courage always, always, always will convey

As a military child I face adversity with courage by my side

I advocate for myself and dare not hide

For everyday brings something new

But with courage I know exactly what I need to do
