HOW HAS COURAGE SHAPE YOUR LIFE
Courage has shaped my life in so many different ways. I’ve learned that courage doesn’t have to be loud, but it can be quiet. Also, courage doesn’t just mean being brave but doing something that we never thought we could do. Finally, knowing that courage is when you take risks not just letting all the opportunities sit there rotten.
In my opinion, everyone needs to know that courage doesn’t have to be something big but it can also be something small. For example, in my family grades are very important so even when I pass a quiz we rejoice. Something small can just be a little voice that tells you I can try again next time. So always rejoice about all of your accomplishments its either big or small.
Another way courage has affected my life, is when I learned that doing something I never thought I could do is apart of being bold for instance as a little kid I loved art but at no time thought that I could be an artist. But fast forward as today, I learned that I needed to be courageous and suddenly my friends and family said that my artwork is phenomenal. And that is when I started to believe and have more confidence in myself. I tried other activities that gives me an interest like choir, instrumental ensemble and joined in Science Olympiad. Facing each day, whatever the situation maybe with humbleness and joy in your heart is courage but itself.
Finally, the last reason why courage has shaped my life is when I earned that taking risks is the way to step out of fear and believe in myself. Taking risks even a tiny one has helped me open up new opportunities and provide a path to a rewarding future. One example is, when I tried out for “Science Olympiad” competition against 24 other schools. Iduma Elementary School received a recognition for a ” Sportsmanship Award” for the first time. I felt great and proud when we were given the award because I knew I was one of the participants.
In conclusion, I learned about having courage in myself and my future. Whether it was having lots of courage or just a little. Trying something I never thought I could ever do prepared me for whatever life’s throw at me. So, someday I pray and hope that courage can boost my ability and my knowledge to help me become a scientist working for NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and join in the Space Force. My goal is to set an example for other children out there that when you believe in yourself can take your life to another level and when I become successful, I will be the voice to young people and tell them to never give up on their dream… Because by using or practicing the courage in my life has change me!
