Courageous By: Julia Brown
People believe that they cannot be brave People believe that they cannot continue thinking People believe that they must be grave People believe that they have to stop clinging
People think that, because there family member is gone They cannot continue to be courageous So they stay awake until dawn Thinking that everything around them is outrageous
People need to know that Just because their family is gone That does not mean their voice must be flat They will always be together under the wing of a swan
Even when family is gone for long Even when you miss them much No one should suffer the sadness of them being gone You should hold on and clutch
even though you miss them Even though they are gone You are still connected like a flower stem. All you have to do is imagine they are not gone for long
For they are not They will always be there It is not worth it to tie yourself in a knot For there are others who will take care
Others that will always be there Just be courageous Just let your love for them flare Because the love they have for you is outrageous
Because while they are gone, you can count the stars One a day Then run into their arms No one cares what way
Your family is always there Physically and and in your heart Your anger will flare Because they are only there in your art You feel your heart will burst When you see their face Your throat, no thirst You think it’s like a race
But it is not You are perfectly safe in your own pace It’s no use to tie yourself into a mess that’s hot Because you must know, you are completely safe
Just know That everything is fine Your family is home Just make yourself kind
Be courageous Because YOU are what is kind. | |
