People think it’s hard to be me;
But they don’t see
That I have the courage inside me,
To know what’s going on when dad has to leave
My family and I say goodbye
Sometimes we have to leave for a longtime,
But it’s so sweet, when we see each other again
Like the comfort when you see an old friend
People think it’s hard to live like me
Going to somewhere new can be fun,
Like the rising of the morning sun
People think it’s hard to be me,
But my secret is that I have courage inside me
To see the world differently in the glasses that God gave me
